56th Annual Grammy Awards! Let’s talk hair, fashion and makeup!
Hollywood doesn’t disappoint with fabulous style, especially when it comes to the 56th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. All of the stars in attendance rocked the Red Carpet with fashion forward clothing, makeup and let’s not forget…the hair.
Katy Perry sported the classic up-do ribboned with hair additions, and later on stunned fans with a punked blue jaw dropper. The 29 year old gave an outstanding performance of her latest single, Dark Horse with her collaborator Juicy J.
Pink and Lady GaGa both chose striking color and style. Sara Bareilles, Grammy nominee for Album of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance, stepped out onto Sunday’s Red Carpet wearing her hair wavy and heavily textured. Her hair stylist Rolando Beauchamp calls it “rough” beautiful hair to complement her soft, feminine Blumarine gown.
Who knew a simple ponytail could look so chic? Taylor Swift’s beach wave pony paired fabulously with her smoky eyes and shimmering gold Gucci gown.
The throwback Awards edition rolled on with some can’t believe Grammy hairstyles. Beyoncé may have won five statues in 2004, but the real feat was how she managed to hold her head up under the weight of one of the most unbelievable buns the red carpet has ever seen. Her opening act this year featured a wet look that had the crowd begging for more. It was a showstopper to be expected from the multi-talented superstar.
Let’s not forget the men of the red carpet! Jared Leto rocked a “Jesus” look with his full beard and long wavy hair although many were expecting him to arrive with his signature “man-bun”.
Miguel who was nominated for two Grammys this year wore all black on the red carpet. His new look included curly hair with shag on the top.
Grammy nominee, Keith Urban wore his customary shag look during his performance of Cop Car from his latest album Fuse. Grammy winner, Gary Clark Jr joined the American Idol judge during the captivating performance.
The Weeknd wore a white tie, which gave a nice touch to his all black ensemble and spikey dreadlocks.
Winners and losers alike partied like Grammy winners all weekend in LA adorning their fabulous styles. Jay Z mingled with Madonna, Daft Punk, Lorde, Jared Leto, Aziz Ansari and Stevie Wonder at the after party at Park Plaza Hotel.
Thanks to all the stars for another year of the great and bizarre styles for all of us to follow.
